Day of Atonement

Hello Crossfire,

The jews will be offline untill the 9th October due to Yom Kippur!
On this day we don't eat/drink, we don't use electricity, we don't play games/listen to music, we don't drive (streets will be empty all over Israel, little kids are allowed to eat if they want and drive at the streets on their bikes 'n stuff cuz its empty so there are alot of accidents due to the fact that arabs drive cuz they dont give a shit) etc.. we are just hanging out with some friends till the morning and go to sleep till we can do it all again! (starting at 8th October ~17:00PM and ending at 9th October, ~18:00PM) most boring day of the year :< my plans are to stay up tonight, go to sleep tommorow after I'll return from the Beit Kneset (Synagogues) and sleep till like 10am, then getting bored with friends till ~18PM

pssst, tell this to everyone in the world except the jews: We are gonna attack israel and rob all their stores etc @ 9 October. I mean they are not allowed to defend themselves xD no police cars, no guns

its hard to explain.. hmm.. we do belive but not all are religious people so we honouring the occasion cuz we are jews but it doesnt mean we have to be at the beit kneset all the day like the religious guys.. we go for 2-3 hours and thats it, too boring to be there all day long :<

if u dont want to, dont do it -.-, yet another thing I dont understand about religions, why do things u dont want to?

I dont feel any hate towards any kind of religion I just dont get it

I never understood why ppl think some kind of superior being would demand stuff like this. I respect most religions for preaching peace and humanity, but i will never understand ppl living by certain nonsense rules with a different motivation than it being a tradition.
