Parent
You can find a lot on www.worryaboutyou.com, it's quicker than msn (at least it used to be :p)

There's a nice torrent for chopin on www.isohunt.com if you use torrents
Parent
k thnx! will try it there
Parent
btw from chopin nocture in G minor, in what movie is it used???? i cant remember
Parent
c sharp, the pianist
Parent
ye ur right searched it @ youtube. its indeed c-sharp, the song sounded to familair to me haha, but yes the version used as sound track is a bit 'higher' or whatever you call it in english
Parent
;d

btw, this site has a lot of different recordings as well - not every piece is up there though

http://www.pianosociety.com/cms/index.php?section=1
1) click composer on the left
2) click composer name
3) search for the piece if it's on there
4) most of the time there's like 1-3 recordings of a piece on there
Parent
i might sound noob, but what means the op. ?? :P
Parent

Parent

I'd add:

Beethoven- Moonlight Sonata
Beethoven- Pathetique Sonata
Beethoven- Appassionata (sp?) Sonata

Three of his best piano sonatas, if you've never heard these before u shud :)
Parent
i never listened that much to classical music :P but i know moonlight sonata, great song and even playable @ guitar
Parent
wow man, well if you really like piano and start learning, seriously aim to be able to play Moonlight, then record it and post ^^ such a good piece but so difficult to master (style-wise)
Parent
well, now i focus on guitar but i want to learn play piano also, that have to wait i think..
Parent
moonlight 1st movement is boring imo, 3rd one is awesome.
Parent
but impossible to play! :S

Parent
It's the best performance yet imo.
Parent
oh yeah, la campagnella is amazing! <3 Liszt

Dream of Love is also a pretty difficult song stylistically, I think I've heard more interpretations of this song than any other piano piece :O
