my dad wants his own pc he mainly uses it for:
email
web browsing
writing letters, reports
compiling spreadsheets
accessing a company Ms access database
creating basic flyers and invitation ideas
colour printing
scanning listening to music video conferencing with other offices and clients.
what computer system or suitable software should we look at ?
also if you point something out be good to know the cost.

You might adjust somethings... and maybe you have a shop near buy where you can let this setup been maked for a better price ofcourse;)!
And put a nice videocard in it... like the 8800GTX for the: scanning listening to music video conferencing with other offices and clients.
And use the latest Windows Office pack the biggest one with all Office programme's in it.

Or just go to apple and get a decent laptop to take with him, a neat tidy one such at the apple mac AIR.
