Since u have such a nice cpu get hd4870 as well! or hd4870 x2 but then u need that kind of psu.

^^ overkill. You don't need a 700 watt powersupply. With that hardware a 450 watt supply is more than enough.

- Dont waste your money on a QuadCore, DuoCore is better for games, take a E6750 or E8400.
- Change PSU, 400w is enough.
- Good gfx card but change brand, take a known one like Asus or Saphire.
- Corsair RAM > Kingston, and take 2 or 3 Go RAM if you got XP 32bits.

it depends of what you want to do with your processor. I had a e6750 overclocked wich was running better than the 8200 of a friend. Now i got a e8400 wich is better than the last two ones.

Anyway they are all 3 good procs imo.

tfh you can OC every pentium dual core E2160, which costs 60-70€ to at least 3Ghz it's built on the same technology as the core2duo's.

Quad Core can be twice better in rendering videos etc. + in the future games iwll use that better so i wouldnt say dual is better for gaming.

It took over 3 years to get the first game using Dualcore atleast A BIT. I hardly doubt this process will go any faster with quad. For the next 1-2 Years Dualcore is the way to go in game price/perfomance wise atleast.

Agreed, but it seems that guy want to play "today's" games and he doesnt want to spend tons of money. Quadcores will be nice for future games but only bad point imo is that they are not easy overclockables.

That's actually a nice setup, mainboard is right (done your homework :P), gfx is decent but you can get them way cheaper.. the mainboards 90 max and the gfx 130, dunno bout the rest tho. But erm you don't need a 700w psu tbh, but that's preference I guess...

Btw if you can save some on the mb I suggest you put 20€ on and get 2Gb Corsair Dominator..
