since i might be hosting the next one, dunno, haven't talked to Rhand yet, but Thomm is busy, do you guys have any suggestions? I mean its obvious that the redo option should be put in. but actually put in some input.

it's like a running contest: if you fail it's not like they're going to restart the whole run ?
We need 2 runs but the best time count..
Another option we considered was a total time system, every map time would be counted as one total time, then a fail in one map couldn´t destroy your competition. And one wildcard-run on that system too. But it would still take time, unless you got good admins and 4-5 servers which you can use.

either do two runs and you add the times together or two runs and take the best time.
or a loser bracket.

Maps were okay, you need maps with as little engi-stuff as possible. I mean you can't use Supply or Goldrush for obvious reasons. Perhaps Oasis could be used since there are quite some trickjumps n stuff but otherwise the maps were fairly okay for it.
I would minimise it to 1 try per participant though, you just don't have to blown it. Gives the competition an extra edge imo. Only failures ask for a 2nd run. I never saw voiler asking for a second time for instance.
