fedora 9 x86_64 - installing ET

Hi!

Well, i just tried (and failed) to install ET on my second PC.
It's running fedora9 x86_64.
I already tried "linux32 sh et-linux-2.55.x86.run" with & without adding "--keep" but i keep getting this error:

Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing Enemy Territory 2.55...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
/root/.setup6764: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I already googled for a while but have not yet found anything useful :(
Could anyone tell me what to do?

use vista 64
use vista
use vista
Try to install the required librarys and packages with yum packages-manager. yum is the easiest way to do this.
libgtk-1.2
actually is installed. :/

Even all the development files ? look for something like -dev ending.. These are pretty important.

thanks, going to check if some dev files are missing.

you have to install the libgtk-1.2.i386 version

Havent tried fedora, but taking a guess, install 32bit libraries. Wouldnt know the name of them on fedora, sorry. :(
that might be the issue aswell.. Unlike 64-bit windows.. You're able to run 32-bit programs in 64-bit system if you install these 32-bit librarys.

nah, 64 bit vista runs 32 bit apps :)
