I used to have a diamondback ~ 2-3 years ago but switched to another one for various reasons. Using my MX 518 for quite some time now and i'm getting bored of it, I find it too big, I don't really like the shape anymore and sometimes it feels like it just doesn't respond fast enough when I flick my mouse into another direction. (will break soon anyway if I remember the numerous journals correctly).
Anyone who made the switch from a mx 518 to a razer diamondback? And will it be suitable for me since I want to play with it @ 400 DPI. If not, I might aswell just buy a krait / salmosa since they are so cheap (30 EUR)
Shut your piehole if you don't know the slightest thing about mice, and stick your esreality benchmarks up your asses please.
If anybody else uses another razer mouse (boomslang, krait, lachesis, salmosa...), just fire away.
Thx in advance.

Hehhehe
neither db nor ime 3.0 had the same (great) handling as the 5xx series.
btw I had exactly the same thaught (switching to a smaller, more compact mouse), but went back to logitech because I couldn't find a pleasant enough solution
after some year i decided to buy a MX510<3, played with it some year untill, the G5 came ouuuuuuuuut, then i bought it cuz i thought laser mouse was pr0. Actually i liked G5 kinda much :p
Then it broked after some years of usage, and i called Logitech and they send me a new one !
G5 v2 but they said it will take a week, So I wAs LiKe WtF i NEed To PALy, so i bought a Deadadder and i hated it after testing it. And the G5v2 did i give to father, so i used ballmouse for 2 weeks, then i decided to give deathadder a 2weeks chance !!111!11
HerE I aM I LoVe DeathADDder !!!
EDiT: had DeathAAder For A KinDa lONgTime NOw, SiNce LikE teh ReleAsE
hähähä
'how old is your mouse?'
'uh, maybe 6 months or a year!?'
then i gave him serialnumber and he said it was 4 years old but it's np. also he mentioned they 'unfortunately don't have mx510 anymore, but maybe it would be ok if they send me a mx518'
i was like oki thanks bb :D
edit: i will try to do that with my mx510 :D even if it still works, can give a try atleast :D
said mouse2 didn't work properly and sometimes the optical sensor (or w/e) was messed up. just say you use it for gaming (it's purpose) and they'll say 'oki, too bad the mouse can't fulfill it's purpose anymore, you'll get a new one' i guess..
;D
I use DA now, much better and comportible.
Thought the exact same thing when I had my DB ;D. Nobody could reach those buttons unless you had a mutant-pinky or something. Why do you found your deathadder that much better? Looks kinda heavy to me and the shape is... weird..
-Its a bit heavy, i used ms1.1 before and that was brilliant light.
-I have to cut the mousefeet to little pieces for better friction (too big feet the default)
copperhead: EPICFAIL
Dont think their intention was to make all 4 buttons able to be pushed if you are right/lefthanded.
h3h3h3
Mine was a little faulty tho so had to replace the usb cable. I think the newer ones should be fine.
The 2 side buttons on the right are unusable unless you are left handed. I think the DB is the only mouse for lefties.
I have to agree with alexl on the deathadder. To start with i hated it and the feet but now i love it. Although i think there is some weird bug on the scroll wheel. Keep pressing mwheelup and then every now and then it throws in its own mwheeldown :S
i'm using copperhead myself and aside the occasional hardware failure it's working like a charm
