With trigonometric functions. Since trigonometric functions use the Cartesian Plane, some of the angles are negative. For example sin(5pi/4) is - (negative) (square root of 2 over 2)

for example : if you got cosinus (cos) of whatever then it can be a negative number. i don't know cos of -1 = 180° or cos of -0.85 = 148.2
