Hargreaves and Carrick in the same central midfield would = fail. And given hargreaves has rarely ever played doesnt look good tbh ;)

Anderson is underatted though, and whenever I have seen him he has been class and a real workhorse.

oh theres no doubt, giggs was and still probably is one of the best left wingers in the history of the game - and even compared to right wingers he is still very much up there.

ye but in this man united he can't keep up to be a regular imo. he hasn't played the amount of matches some of these younger guys have to be in good rithm imo...

i've always loved gigss though i think he is awesome...

he is lik 35 now, so you can understand it :) just look at scholes - same problem.. just getting a little older thats all. Still were great players and still pretty damn good aswell :)

The midfield is stacked to death lol. I think Beckham's passing would actually create a lot of goals for Inzaghi & co if he manages to get some games. In the same way he supplied Van Nistelrooy while at Manchester United.

I doubt that if Im honest - Van Nistelrooy can actually head the ball whereas inzaghi would want an on the floor through ball.

Pato might be able to take it over the top, but no idea on his heading ability.

That's a fallacy. Certain players at Madrid were given preferential treatment despite being quite shit - hi Raul - but every decent team manages to find a good balance. I mean, Madrid had an obscene amount of attacking options but they also had/have players like Hierro and Cannovora (sp) to counter that.

Milan have Nesta. Manchester United have Ferdinand. Chelsea have Terry. Barcelona have Puyol. It's more important how teams decide to use their two centre midfielder's; at least that usually tells you about their style of play.
