Lately ive been getting the almighty "blue screen of death"

Over long-term if i dont get this sorted out could this be fatal to my computer?

If so what can i do to get it sorted out?

Thanks

i usually just format
Doubt it's fatal for your computer. I had it on my old computer for years without any "real" problem besides gettings BSOD'ed once a day.
Nothing funny about that mister. Nothing as annoying as getting a BSOD when you're raping someone in ET!

unplug it at the socket
become colourblind
didnt have a bluescreen since windows 98 8D
my soundcard gives me bluescreen every time I switch speakers to headphones because screw is loose !
could be a bunch of things .

best bet if u havent established a link between them and a new peice of hardware / software is to one by one take non essential pc components out and see how long the pc runs ( hopefully ) without bluesceening.

try 1 stick of ram out, then switch with the other.... sound card... gfx card...

trial and error.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD SPEED
I've also had it a lot with my comp, I always formatted it! Now I'm using some nice antivirus progs and my pc keeps running great :)
Also: If you don't like the colour blue, there's an option to change it. So you could get pink screen of death, orange screen etc etc :)))>
had it too, just reinstalled windows, no problem now
