SPORE.

Anyone playing this game? I was thinking of getting it, but im unsure whether it'll be what im looking for.

Most people seem to consider it an epic, buggy fail, or the PC's answer to heroin! Anyone got any opinions? Worth the money?


On another similar note, any good single player games? I havnt found one ive truely enjoyed since Morrowind! I dont mind too much about gfx, just gameplay really.

Spore is huge, but disappointingly shallow. Endless fun if you're about 5 years old. Definitely not worth the money.

You can play through it many times in different ways, but it's still just doing the same crap over and over again. Nothing you do in an earlier stage really affects the game at a later stage and your creature/tribe/empire doesn't really have any influence on the development of the world. It's also very easy and you can't even screw up, which means you don't have to think at all.

true but then again I wasn't trying to compare it to WoW endgame

I guess it could be compared on a more basic level to the standard MMORPG template

True, but I spent most of my time in WoW writing UI components and playing chess... It's also a tad more social and competitive than Spore and used to be a bit challenging*. ;)

It still is challenging when it comes to most of the classes @ pvp (obviously not lock, especially since the new patches i hear!)

its a good game for me but in the final stage its so fucking lame cause the enemis attack your planets all the time !!
