are there any good drag racing games out there? I was recommended to try Nitto Legends but it wasn't really my cup of tea. and I mean only drag racing games, no circuits or "casually cruising through the streets" - type of games. it doesn't really matter whether it is online or not, though it seems to me that competing against the computer is a little more challenging. the graphics are not the most significant part for me, though MSDOS games are rather a turn-off.
I remember playing an awesome game of that kind a few years ago, but I cannot recall the name anymore. all I remember was starting from scratch with a pile of junk that could be considered scrap iron, it went 0-100 in about 25 seconds and slowly but surely I managed to climb my way up the ladder, gathering fame and collecting points to race the more skilled drivers. any suggestions are welcome !

Did anyone play Lair with analog patch? Is it fun now ;F?
And as far as i know there's never been a game released which only covered dragracing.
And i think the main reason for that is that it would be a shitty game cuz dragracing sucks :\
