Hoi i bought myself a new pc with vista, but i got rid of it and installed xp pro instead.
Ive got some usb problems, the port im using for my mouse seems to be using low speed usb (1,5 mb) when it could be using hi-speed usb (480 mb) and my mouse performance is poor (mx518) i guess this could be the cause. i cant find any options in bios to set "hi usb speed"
Also i cant find any updates for my usb drivers, the driver info claim they are from 2001 and they look like this:
Universal Serial Bus controllers
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
According to Sisoftware Sandra the name of my usb is Foxconn IXP SB600 usb controller, however i fail to find any updates, my pc is running xp pro with sp3

you always think something is wrong with your mouse :P
P.S. USB 1.0 speeds are enough for mouse I guess.

check above for speccs
In this case you go to the asus site and look for K8N-E deluxe. I would only download the chipset drivers, before trying anything else.
