my favorite hd tracker just announced a sudden freeleech

thats why i feel like downloading some movies I wouldn't normally download

So what's hot recently, I haven't seen anything since Cloverfield.


And by recently I mean, old enough to have been released to hddvd or blu-ray - I'm not going to watch shitty cams

Well all the equipment I have for HD playback is my own (unless I'm streaming stuff downstairs), and the internet connection we would have whether I lived here or not.

Hardly spoiled...

I wasnt talking about the equipment you use to play the stuff..

unless u have some 32"+ monitor, its quite useless to download everything in full hd, as if you're too good for anything less than 1080p even though u prolly wont see much of a difference unless u sit right next to the monitor. if some of the conditions were met, then I'm sorry for calling you spoiled, but I will find it rather stupid.

movies watched on 42" lcd

tv series i grab in 1280x720 and watch on my 22" (while sat in my chair so I'm close)

however, the main reason for 720p isn't the video, its the audio

most SD releases don't have 5.1 audio

Lotr was nice HD, if you have the TV/monitor for it - bit of a long haul stretch.. especially if you can get the extended versions (12+ hours! :D)

Death race was an average watch but I doubt thats on HD yet - do they do any of the CGI pixar movies in HD? or does it make no difference.. that could be nice.

Already seen the LotR trilogy in HD, was good. The "extended" sections were all upscaled from DVD and the rest was full HD, good thing most of those scenes were just Sam and Frodo fucking around in a various landscapes.
