So I am looking for the source for the map karsiah_te2!

If someone got it or knows where to find it, pls contact me here on cf or @ qnet, /q star_ or starBOUNCER

By asking for source code of it, I doubt you know anything about mapping, which makes me also doubt the mapper giving the "source code" of his map to you. Good luck though...

I wonder which one would take you more time...To open karsiah pk3 file with winrar and view readme file where it says:

"Map: Karsiah
Author: Henri 'Nenquel' Karhula
E-Mail: [email protected]"

And write him an e-mail asking for the .map file of karsiah.

OR

Writing journal here, and hoping someone might reply something useful, which doesn't happen ever.


The point is; It was fucking easy to find the author's contact information with even as low brainfunction as mine.

or offer to make a mapscript to do the changes you want

also, i dont think i'd really want to unless you're going to make a totally different map :DDD

I'd suggest not decompiling it, since he'd have to put every texture on place again which would already take one year. Unless he doesn't care about textures and let them look like shit, which would make the map look very shit and no one play it.

Get map from the author or give up.

you can strip the textures settings from the .bsp !

anyway his total refusal to tell me what he wants to do with the map shows its something retarded so not wasting my time on it :}
