these days, finding a crt is ebay-only
CRT @ that res @ refresh, never.
HAHA, yeah its true that size of CRT isnt maybe capable of that but check out Abort's hardware for example (22" 125hz 1600x1200)
Parent
my 21" handles 1280x960@125hz :|
Parent
I had a 19" (Samsung, good quality) and max was 90Hz for 1280x1024.
Parent
you mean 1280x960
Parent
my 19" crt does 120hz @ 1280x1024
Parent
I guess it's not a very cheap model :).
Parent
iiyama vision master pro 454 . You can pick one up 2nd hand for about 50 euro's I guess.
Parent
what Cohen/TheoDor told you
iiyami 454 or p1220
2nd handed 25~50 euros
1280x1024 is NOT a 4:3 resolution

i think you mean 1280x960
yeah im a nab at this
Parent
unless he edited his journal I don't see him asking for 4:3
Parent
a 19" crt is 4:3
Parent
missing my point
Parent
ahh so hes looking for one of those 5:4 CRT's I've heard so much about
Parent
I'm not really sure what's your point since I so obviously pointed out that noone asked you if 1280*1024 was a 4:3 resolution, he just asked for a monitor that can have that resolution at a certain refresh rate
Parent
he made a mistake

because anyone who has used a crt at 1280x1024 will tell you how implausible it sounds
Parent
what sounds implausible?

so me using 1280*1024@120 Hz atm is implausible? looks very plausible to me, the plausibility is high
Parent
then youre a moron, enjoy your out of proportion desktop and player models
Parent
wondering who's the moron, one who's acting smart or one who actually is smart

there's no visible difference
Parent
u dont need 125 hz lol.
iiyama vision master pro.
