Just got back from seeing 
Amon amarth \o/
Was an epic gig.
Got there 1 hour early to get a nice place in the queue, had some cold chips and a hot
cupper then went in.
some emos opened the gig and were utter shit
Amon amarth only had 30 minutes set and because the door times were earlier than advertised not many were there :'( But still, they played Death in fire, Asator, Twilight of the thunder god, The pursuit of Vikings and Cry of the blackbirds.
Then
Mastodon came on, sounded boring, they seemed to have crossed their music with experimental, metal and rock.
Trivium were on next. utter snooooooooze, fucking faggots playing 'metal' and the singer going on about "if you don't jump up and down and sing along you're not metal" bollocks emo kid.
Slayer were on last, another boring band, set was on for too long, only half decent song they played was Angel of death

mongol tried to break into my car tonight too, all the door was bent up the top were they tried to pry it open and I only had 3 beers today :(

Highlight of the gig = them = epic gig. I sat down while the other mongs played, besides 10 minutes of Trivium :{
Never heard such shit names for songs in one sentence :D
Best thing ever was in my hometown though, DT + Soilwork + Sonic Syndicate + Caliban (=german faggots I think) and it was fucking cheap aswell !
