local ettv

I have started ETTV demo with this : "F:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ettv.exe" +set dedicated 1 +set fs_game etpro +set sv_punkbuster 0 +set ettv_autoplay 1 +demo demoname

It starts to play it I guess

but i just cant get my ET connect into that, what am I doing wrong?

e: If I can get that work what could I do that other ppl would be able to join it?

e2: ok got it working with different demo!

iirc, if you want to watch ETTV demos (like tv84s from gamestv) and you set up an ETTV client, it's basically the exact same thing as hosting a Local Server on ur computer, so the people who intend to connect should be on your LAN, then all they have to do is go to "Play Online --> Filters --> Source: Local" (change it from Internet to Local)

You have to forward ports on your router so people can connect from the internet. By default you host it on port 27960 so you have to forward that port to your computer.

That site might help you. Search your router and they'll tell you how to do it. If you did it right people can connect to your IP:27960 (http://www.whatismyip.com/).

ofc they can.


just check out yr current ip, port should be standart.
& just give the ip 2 yr mates.
When I started a replay on my local machine -I noticed that 1 guy could watch it comfortably ,
but when 3 guys connected 2 my server- they started 2 have noticable lags
