you ask if its any good after you bought it? 8D
say thanks and thats it
you will ruin the meaning of it :(
Parent
Probably best you figured it out before you brought it?
noo, its not any good
sorry
its good enough
5ms it's high
bad/ good :P?
Parent
its very hard to test yourself or why are you asking on crossfire?

or.... are u blind? haha, getting a monitor for present, nice sense of humour your parents have!!2121
like they have ideas about monitors. they just looked big, 10 000 : 1 contrast , lcd. what else?
Parent
well, maybe try it out and see if its good?
Parent
and how can i do that? i mean, i am not used to LCD and dont know shit about them
Parent
i wud use it as 2nd monita m8
Parent
ehm could you just post the model tard? :D
1680 x 1050 is good for 20"
Its the same res only streched out. 5ms is rather high, a 20" would have been 2ms

But its cool as present :P no need to complain, dont cry when you get a lamborghini when you want a ferrari (if you do i swear i kick your ass, spoiled fuck)
please, lamborghini is way more cooler. still waiting to buy my first lamborghini, might take a while considering im poor student.
Parent
Soo agreed, Ferraris are for old tards. (its the second reason i'd kick your ass tbh)
Parent

Parent
ah lol right 22" my bad, confused it with my other screen
Parent
Reso is okay, not too high, not too low.
You will turn the brightness down anyway (imo)
10000:1 contrast is dynamic, depends on the monitor. Some are rather good, some are quite bad...
5ms doesn't matter - because everything other than crt sucks anyway :P

Depending on the panel most probably the blacks will be more of a dark grey and maybe there's backlight bleed - sucks if you watch movies. And the thing I hate most about TFTs are dead/hot/stuck pixels - still trying to find a HP lp2475w without flaws :/

If you don't notice anything that bothers you, enjoy your new monitor!
better than my BIG STUFF 17" np
