okay after JZaK requested a short report about our trip to london, I will just write it down here.
Okay at the beginning we had to get up at 5:45 to reach our train. While we were waiting for it, it began snowing what made us quite happy since we got the mentality of kids :D. Anyways we had to wait for 2 1/2 hours at the airport in munich. Was quite boring to be honest but there we went to Burger King to catch a crown which we took with us on board of the plane :P
After a 2 hours flight we finally reached Stanstead :D had to wait again for like 1 hour for the bus to take us to the city. When we first reached our hostel called Generator we were kinda shocked. The rooms were so fucking small and we had mould on the top of the showers. This was kinda gross :/. Anyways except this it was pretty much okay and even though we had those issues, the generator was one of the best hostels there are in london for the price we payed :P We took the free tour with our canadian guide called Michael. He really knew how to keep us interested and made some really funny jokes actually. The stories about buckingham palace were just great xD.
Okay in the evening we searched for a supermarket. But in London there are no real supermarkets just some small rooms with food and drink in it with people from india watching you all the time >.< In London everyone is eating those totally disgusting sandwiches which taste like an old fart. This really was the worst since you got the choice to either eat some sandwiches or stick to fast food. The ones of you who are thinking hey what about fish & chips, I gotta tell you there aint no shop there. We searched everywhere there are like only a hand full of shops who sell baked beans and fish & chips. They just stick to sandwiches or to subway, mc donalds, burger king and starbucks :P So the food sucked there so so so much and everything was expensive ~.~ Also the beer sucks... To be honest it tastes either like water or piss. Guinness must be the most overrated beer in history since it tastes so awful its unimaginable :X Take some of the worst coffee you can find and mix it with horse piss and there you got your Guinness. Seriously it sucked and I can tell the difference since I'm from bavaria and we got some of the best beer in the world unlike the british >.<. So we searched for other things to get wasted :P Then we found Strongbow.. I don't know it's like totally for the win. You drink 2 litres of beer and you feel nothing but then you drink like 2 litres strongbow and it quickly rushes into your head and your feeling fine :D Even though me and haZer enjoyed this drink so so so much our friends didn't. So I can't guarantee you if you will like but you sure have to try it at least once :P
After 5 days we came back to germany and I have to say that Munich is so much better than London. We might not have those must-watch things like big ben and buckingham palace, but our citys are so much nice overall :o

Guinness = shit and it's not even British anyway. If you wanted nice British beer/ale then you should have opted for some Wychwood stuff.
There are dozens of decent restaurants and supermarkets all around London.
There was a nice hostel in Camden that was about £20 for a weekend or something, really enjoy staying there when I go up to that end x)
ofc some things were - but overall it was ++ :)
Plus there was the journal where everyone moaned about which countries they disliked, and the Germans reeled off stereotype after stereotype about why not to like England.
though ive only been there 4 weeks for a work experience
was like "huh?" when i heard how much he wants ;)
and of course if you go into a wetherspoons and get a pint of wifebeater it's gonna taste like donkey piss with too much water. you have to go to the independent brewery pubs which are down the side streets. if you cant find them then the only main stream lager you can possibly drink here is budvar, san miguel, sol, corona.
and dont drink cider in pubs, as thwe old saying goes: "fruit based drink for the lady"
edit: and yeah fuck that underground system Oo I mean it's really well done and extremely easy to understand but it is so expensive :<

because i was in london aswell and i kinda felt in love.
there are actually some big supermarkets, u havent seen any "sainsbury's" ?
i ate fish and chips in holborn @ fryer's delight restaurant, cuz this was appreciated by some tourist guide (book!) - it was very nice, delicious!
u didnt say anything about the women? actually a lot of them are not that pretty, but pretty hot because of their clothing style (hot pants @ 2° C ? ok)
i only remember magners cider, kinda expensive, but very very nice!! ( http://www.magnerscider.com )
anyways, cant wait to go there again :)
