touchpad laptop

I got a vaio, the touchpad has a scroll function on it, it worked the first day i got the laptop, but after i plugged in an USB mouse, it didnt work anymore.

I googled for this problem, but its chinese to me, people say stuff about configs for these things;/

help me out plz

mine sometimes cuts out as well as the functions of the buttons such as volume inc/dec, s1 s2, eject and mute on the left side of the keyboard... damn sony! just reboot it should be fixed? at least that sorts mine

nah, got the laptop for a few months now, it only worked untill i plugged in my mouse for the first time;p (im lazy)

after i had uninstalled Touchpad bloatware driver it also disabled in windows, works in ubuntu without any driver though

how can i tell what my touchpad is?

Just go to the settings of your mouse and you should be able to turn on your touchpad there.
If that doesn't work, check your Hotkeys, most of the time there is a hotkey (something lik FN + F2 or w/e) that will activate your touchpad.
