who cares about money, if i chose a game i want to play it should be a game that gives me place to become the best in it, not best in the scene, best you can get in the game. Those cod4 guys just wont get to that point :D because when they've got into the game, the next installment comes and they switch to it. I mean - if there was a new quake every year, i seriously doubt the skill in q3 would get that insanely high, the same for ET, after those 5 years players learnt to use every aspect of the game, they simply mastered the game. Lets say ET's top players reached 100% skill level in ET, they cant improve more. If there was a new ET game every year, they wouldnt even reach 60% of their possible skill (in that game), switch to another game and start over from a scratch, basically never reaching their best.

most of the cod community is pissed about it also. I think everyone should stay at cod4 but what can you do :(
