CD Cover Pic

Hoi fellas im gona make a CD Cover for my mates cd so i wonder what resolution and sizes i should have to make it look nais =D


Would be nice if some of you could help me!

P.S i use GIMP :)

get a ruler out and measure the case and then decide on whatever DPI you want?

no point using 58328528 DPI if youre printing it at 96 DPI or whatever

If it's for a digital release, 500x500px minimum. Size doesn't matter.

Maybe your mates were just releasing a bunch of mp3/flac whatever and they just wanted a nice cover to go with it.

hey there's a website with all sizes for cd/dvd covers

if you are going to print it out remember to use 300dpi or more.
