Casina Royale didnt have any gadgets either.
Both movies are good movies on their own, shame they don't fit into the classic Bond feeling though. So for most people, it won't feel like really watching James Bond, but just watching a good action/thriller.
Well, I have to get used to the new Bond thingie idd, because I only know 007 as the old formula. Although I really like the new way they're headed in now :)
i think its great now, these 2 new Bond films have shown a different side to Bond imo. He doesn't win a fight straight away and he actually gets hurt and wounded, unlike the previous Bonds, makes it easier to watch for me :D
Yeah of course I heard that particular part, but he clearly says that he doesn't care whether it's stirred or shaken. In all the other bond movies he prefers it to be shaken.
It's supposed to be ironic. It's playing on the conventions you know about the Bond franchise in order to signify change. Re-watch the poker seen when Bond orders a drink, and the entire table say "that sounds nice, I'll have one". It annoys LeChauffe and pokes fun through hyperbole.
