fps drops :/

I have weird problem : I have kind of lags or warps two, maybe three times each round. they're 10 secs long, but I have like 20 fps and cant hit or do anything. I've heard that this is not only my problem. gfx card : GF 7300. any solutions? It started like 2 weeks ago, can it be connected to the last pb update? pls help

same here i got stable 100 fps and after +-5mins i got drops to +-75 fps but it feels like im playing with 30-40 fps
its when i upload pb screen i think and started some time ago
got adsl connection
