need some help..........

with setting up r_custom's, maybe also r_mode or sth, coz i have a new panoramic monitor and its fuckin strange to aim, the look is very strange for me. normally i was playing @ 19crt and now i have 20 lcd? Any ideas about resolution and stuff? help pls ;[


edit1 after i did the stuff you have said, i have 60 fps and cant change it ( tried r_displayrefresh, r_swapinterwal, screen settings @ win, com_maxfps of coz) and i cant set it up to 75 now ;[

edit2 r_customhight 1680 r_customwidth 1280, everything looks fine ;]

widescreens sux idd, I'm playing at CRT 22" and it's great but ye do sth like that
r_mode -1
r_customwidth "1680"
r_customheight "1050"

and try to set r_displayrefresh 75 in game(also in system(Wlasciwosci>Zaawansowane>Monitor) and com_maxfps 75 in game

Should be better.

crt > lcd sure of this. but new lcd, are a bit better and the can make games playable

I used to play with 1680x1050, but I now play with 1024x768 on a 22"widescreen and it somehow feels better ;/

mouse movement is kinda better at low resolutions, maybe coz ET uses angles & win mouse coordinates for it, dunno, but it rly feels much faster
also at my 2nd 22'' lcd i cant use 1680x1050@75hz(coz of fucking DVI limit), so i played at r_mode 6 @ 75hz as you do. It just cuts sides, so there're black areas, though theimage stretches vertically and looks blurry :[
anyway crt is so much better

i found very very not comfortable solution, but everything looks just like @ 4;3 screen, lg monitors has 'fun' options and there you can set screen to 4;3:DDDDDDDDdd just for et its enough, for the movies etc you can change it back, of course is fuckin annoying ;[[[[
