E8400 + HD4850(GS) is the best you can buy for 700€.

edit: said i cant post 2 comments in a row that fast in another journal altough my last comment was about 8 hours old :X
640Gb insted of 500, better PSU (Corsairs are cool, take 550W version (even 450W would prolly be ok) or if you are somehow really limited with money atleast 550W LC but it must be that 2.2 (if am right) green power version.
Take Sonata 3 : Good PSU/Case for 100€
Parent
you mean Antec sonata? Never saw any review/feedback so i can't comment :S
Parent
yes Antec Sonata III
Parent
fortrec / chieftec 500w's are better if he's on a budget. cheap quality psus :)
Parent
could be, still LCs 2.2 green power aren't that crap as previous versions were plus they are cheap, ofc chieftec psus are cheap also (only know fortrec as brand) but never heard anything specific about them. LC is pretty much known here right after Corsair but that is another range

get a better mobo for that tbh P5Q-E - delux, has better cooling and is prolly better for such a sys
Parent
ye just not for that money, buy somewhere else the shops horrendously expensive imo.
Just lookin at the hx620 , it goes for around 100 and the board is pretty stable at 125. Find a better shop and maybe buy some decent ram just for the luls :P

[e] btw if I had that money I'd go look to get a cheap way into the i7, that's enough money to have a real monster tbh :P
Parent
what ram you advice me maybe?
Parent
Dunno but I'm getting these

OCz reaper
image: O261-8074-main
or
Corsair Dominator
image: corsair-dominator-dual

:o
Parent
this is what I'm buying in a week, not saying yours is bad but :S

Asus P5Q-E 125€
Scyhte Mugen/Infinity 35€
2GB Kit OCZ Reaper (2Gig better for OC, not gonna touch Vista) 38€
Pentium Dual Core 5200 (same build as core2duo and 45nm, 2mb L2 cache enough for gaming) 72€

Already have
Xpertvision/palit HD4850 (only gets 39 idle, no temp problems) 125€
Corsair HX550w (42 Amps on the 12volt rail, 80+, GFX needs 30) 65€

460€ without Harddrive, dvd researched a lot and imo it's a great setup for OC and stability, can upgrade the cpu but imo it's gonna have enough power when I OC it :P
Quoteit's a great setup for OC and stability

ur playing Opencup?
Parent

Parent
was only joking, i love u

FAIL
you failed.
Core i7-965 / X58 Mobo / DDR3-1600 / 2x HD4870 or GTX280 - that would be a monster
no it's not :) but it's a decent PC .

Monsters are only when you have unlimited budget.
I do have, but I want an iPhone as well.
And just bought PS3 :D
