Hiho crossfire-nerds.
We bought a new server and while setting it up we argued about ET-server cfgs.
Some say the specifically loaded config does most of the job anyways.
Some say it is best to keep it short.
Some say you should cover everything in it.
Some say there are some commands that can be messed up so the server will lagg awfully.
Some say you can not be dumb enough to mess it up.
[...]
So what is your experience, discuss.
I am not talking about the different cfgs, I am talking about the basic server.cfg
and, ofc, the obligatory: link the best cfg u know!

and the rest i have no idea ;D
i dont think i did much work on my previous ones and they worked fine, so for me ur right.
set g_log "27960.log"
set b_cheatlog "27960-cheats.log"
arent even needed because the etpro configs (cb, esl etc) will set this again, so it only logs to that file till the cb cfg is loaded, nice when your server crashes insta, but not needed ^^
