hi there,
im looking to upgrade my vid card. i bought some cheap gt8600 a while ago, was planning to buy a better vid card anyways.
I'm looking for a good vid card, budget = around 200 €. dont want any fancy crap, just something that will last me 6-12months.

Radeon 4850 Asus MATRIX 512MB 2xDVI (PCI-E):

It's the best 4850 Radeon at the moment. It has a really superb cooling, which is very quite (to be honest, you just can't hear it).
another good model is this one. Radeon 4850 HIS 512MB 2xDVI (PCI-E) IceQ 4 Turbo:

You shouldn't hear the fan on this one too! an the temperatures are worse than in the ASUS one, but still very acceptable (it's the seconds Radeon 4850 according to the temperature).
PS. I gave you links to a polish site, but you just need to see the pictures. The prices are much higher in Poland due to the Economical Crisis in the USA. So the best is when you first decide if you want the ASUS or HIS one and than look for it's price on Amazon.
