fps shit problem

So i have this problem that i put r_mode 4 picpic 3 and fps in grush and other maps it like 50 - 90, with r_mode 8 and picmip 1 fps 50-80.

My pc ( also formated yesterday )

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3400+
HD: 310 GB
Graphics: nVidia Gefroce 8600 GT
Memory: 2048
O/S: Windows XP Service Pack 3

Also like to add that the fps problem is only in ET

I got mostly stable 76 fps (r_mode 8) with my old pc which had AMD 2100+ XP, he should have much better fps with that CPU.
