Video Cameras/Camcorder

Yo,

As part of my Music college course I've decided to film an instructional guitar dvd, so I'm looking for a really nice HD video camera/camcorder. I want to make it as professional looking as possible, so I'm looking for excellent imaging quality so I can add some nice stuff with post-production software.

I spoke with gambit months ago about his camcorder which is a Sony SR10E. ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-HDR-SR10E-Definition-Handycam-Camcorder/dp/B0011U9UF4 )

Anyone have any other suggestions? Budget is less than £500, including a tripod stand preferably.

i'd make headways into the pron industry - you'll make fast $$$$

Nikon D90, out of your budget, but maybe worth checking out.

moviefunction is overrated and overhyped by marketers i've heard - I guess there's other reviews aswell tho
