i'm sick of this shit.
this pnkbstrb heartbeats stopped is pissing me off .. i've had enough.
it even wend so far that it fucked up my winxp installation, thus bsod+restart looping.
took me a whole fuckin day fixing it ..
and evenbalance is like .. too stupid giving answers. what are they offering the fuckin ticket system if they aren't answering anyways? ..
i demand a removage of pnkbstrb.exe

i took a deep breath and thought everything over what i have changed in the last view weeks.
i copied 3 partitions to a new HDD .. i've updated the firmware of my router and had to configure it from scratch again. and well, for updating my firmware of my router i had to use vmware virtualplayer (using ubuntu to get into the router hardware) .. i checked my network drivers and found out that this fuckin vmware crap still had some feature added to my network card. i removed it and BANG .. bsod+restart loopin.. but most probably because some system file got fucked or got lost. i don't know.
anyways .. this pnkbstrb.exe crap is just plain fuck
i have this speedport v701w router BUT with the real avm firmware and webinterface.
the speedport v701w has fritzbox hardware which means that you can actually use the original avm fritzbox firmwares. but to update them is a bit tricky. once done, it's easier again.

btw I've never seen someone fucking up his os with vmware.. and I've seen many weird things
and i dont really know if it really was vmware fuckin up my os.
like i wrote, either a file (system file, .sys / .dll files) got fucked or got lost..

Run both as administrator, you should also be logged on as administrator.
If on Vista, disable UAC

With Windows XP set all settings from read only (right click on the file). When you load up your comp PBa and PBb should start, if they don't it's not installed correctly, repeat the above.
Run ET or COD4 as admin, work?
completly cleansed my system from this pnkbstr crap.
that means everywhere, even in the registry..
and did a clean reinstall of et + pb .. didn't help
