Laptop prob

When my gf starts up her laptop, for some reason the laptops keyboard and mouse dont work anymore, thus she cant fill in her password on the startup screen.
Probably its just a quick-fix to this issue.

Anyone know a solution?

BIOS - enable keyboard and mouse, it will be in one of the options.

Use an external keyboard and do this.

No, I mean to ENABLE the onboard keyboard and mouse in the BIOS.

You'd need a working keyboard to do this i think!

lol...

1. Plug in external keyboard
2. Go into BIOS (using external keyboard, go through bios to find the options)
3. Change settings
4. Save and exit
5. Now try without external keyboard.

allready tried an external keyboard




basicly, what i mentioned above, means that even if i plugin an external keyboard, I still cant use the actual purpose that a keyboard serves for computers!

Try using a bootable CD of Ubuntu or a Linux Distro, if you have the first boot device as CDROM it should autoload.

The mouse and keyboard might work now you have some sort of drivers loaded, now update your MOBO from website (laptops website).
