Too high displayrefresh !

So i set my dekstop resoloution and display refresh to 800x600 and 120 hertz. I forgot to change it back and realised today, so I went to change my resoloution to 1024x768 and clicked "ok" but forgot to lower the hertz, resulting in a black screen and a little box dancing in circles on my screen saying "hz?" and I have no idea how to undo or something lol, I tried restarting the computer but it loaded with the WinXp thing and then instead of going to the "log in" thing it just did the dancing "hz?" window again.


Solutions :O)?

um normally it waits 15 seconds or something and if you havent clicked ok by then it resets settings on its own !?

Select VGA Mode from list

Correct the Hz

and Reboot?

If i do that, i get like a really low resolution and when i go to Desktop-properties settings etc.. where i change my res. for example, i cant change it, its just stuck on 640x480 and if i go to advanced where i change the hz, it isnt a possibility to adjust the herts, only option available is "Use hardware default settings" :/

Ok right click My Computer, Manage, Device Manager, Uninstall VGA reboot and re-install.Will work for sure.

It will auto detect it on boot and re-do it as long as you click next :P

Lol, will try rebooting once again, i clicked cancel on that cus my computer always gives me a popup like that which i always close lol :D

would've said the same!

so you reboot your pc, if you have a bios logo, wait until that disappears, after that, directly press F8 and choose to load with VGA drivers / VGA mode.

fix the refresh rate to 75hz

If you have 2 slots for graphic card in your motherboard put it to another slot np.
