prob with DInput :<

Hi there guys,

lil prob i cant solve :/

Reinstalled PC and now i like to get ET working with DInput, but evrytime i am trying to start ET with running et profile my ET craches...

seems like its a prob with my dual core cause theres a note in the readme of DInput:

"The thread tries to set the affinity to all cores of your processor/processors. If the process affinity isn't set to all cores the affinity can't be set. Just make sure the process has got the affinity set to all cores"

but how to tell ET, that it should start on both cores? :<

anyone had that prob too and found a solution? :D

e: had the same problem once: enabled 2nd dualcore for ET.exe at the affinity menu in the task manager, worked fine after that

yeah but i can enable the second core first after i started the ET.exe, but thats too late :/

if i change affinity on my PC it's saved when i launch it again ;o

you should change the affinity of dinput.exe to above normal and set it to run at one core. At least that worked when I tried dinput.
