... professional headset for gaming!
The QPAD headset was created jointly with beyerdynamic. The closed construction absorbs external sounds by approximately 18 decibels (dBA), which makes the immaculate reproduction of sound possible even in loud environments and turbulent LAN parties; you can now hear even the smallest details in the game that you have never been able to hear before.
The enclosed USB adapter fully replaces the sound card in the PC and does not only provide maximum sound quality; it also makes the operation matchlessly simple. In addition, all of the headset parameters, such as the microphone sensitivity, can also be set using the driver software. Just remove the USB adapter and the QPAD headset fits every standard audio device with its mini-jack plug – a portable music player, for example, or the stereo system in the living room. Here as well, the headset gives it’s listener the feeling of being there live at all times.

and i dont see why they mention "gaming headphones + deep bass" as if deep bass would be any advantage in online gaming, its the other way round
less bass, the better (at least theres equalizer to take care of bass....)
This might be the only "gaming headset" i can recommend!
EDIT: Looks like a DT770 in disguise :o
indeed
2slow4me....
i didnt get your question :x
The quality is horrible, especially considering the price. The Sennheiser headsets have atleast decent sound quality and are way harder to break than this cheap plastic stuff from Steelseries.
You/Atarax might not agree though as you are both sponsored/working for those companies.
The 5H always breaks in one earcup after a couple of months, not to talk about the Qpad being worn out within a few weeks almost.
and same for e.g. the Qpad CT, I have had it for 1,5years and it still looks like new, but it may depend from person to person (the way they used it etc)
edit: this one is made out of sturdy metal instead of plastic, that's why they put 5years warranty on it, but the price is indeed ..
I've used a Qpad CT white for about 3 weeks and it was becoming rough and way slower at the most used spots. Even here a lot of ppl have the same problems :)
But let's not argue about it, as it might really depend on the usage habits.
I guess the Qpad headset is gonna be top class though, considering it's basically a Beyerdynamic DT 770 with an attached mic and a Qpad logo.
But as long as you use the proper method of cleaning the pad, it will be as good as new. PM me and I'll help you out!
To be honest, I might be in a organization sponsored by Steelseries, but that doesn't mean that I can't have a critical view towards it. In fact, not a single one of my peripherals right now is by Steelseries :) But I do respect your perspective.
As for my QPAD, I clean it on a regular basis and tbh, it's the only "known" brand of mpad that I've used so I won't compare it to other companies. I got this pad for free anyhow :P It's still quite smooth and works fine (though occasionally I use my desk as a pad :P)
OH MAN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
edit: Wait, are you actually arguing that random Steelseries crap is better than a pair of beyer DT770s? No offense or anything but I think I just remembered why I ignore every review ever posted on esports websites.
The mack daddy of all mack daddy's!
