Looks like those old rumors are true and Valve is finally porting steam to linux:

but they are best options to buy games in israel
since every game cost twice cuz of tax :<
and with steam its like not :*
steam dont have servers in israel :D
so the download speed for some is rly poor

pc games are 60euro
So... how would they handle that, running CS would run wine? :P

they're used by the servers to communicate with steam, there's nothing indicating valve works on making a steam player client.
