Hey,

If I upgrade my PC from 778mb Ram to 1024mb ram what will be the FPS boost? now I got unstable 10-30 fps.

Yes, but try to play with an onboard chipset (for graphics) : you won't overcome 30fps with a normal config, even if you have the best processor of the world

that's like saying you don't need DirectX for W:ET since it's an OpenGL game...

this was the original argument, who said anything about playing ET with a ridiculously underpowered GFX card. in ET processor matters MORE than GFX card, of course pc's are about the whole package.

yes they do! you can buy a Radeon 3650 or 3850 for AGP. 3650 is around 80-90 euro and 3850 is around 115-130 euro.

ja zijn AGP en zijn van ongeveer okt/nov 2007 en hebben DirectX 10.1

hier een review van de 3850 AGP, ook de HD 2600XT en de X1950 PRO zijn in deze review meegenomen. Kan je alle genoemde kaarten mooi vergelijken. (behalve 3650 AGP maar die zal zo ongeveer tussen de 2600XT en de 3850 in zitten)

Je ziet heir ook dat HD 2600XT nog niet zo'n slechte keus is, behalve als je op hogere resoluties wilt gamen. Deze kaart kost nog maar iets van 50-60 euro als ik het goed heb.

Ik heb een Fujitsu Siemens P300 is die kaart niet te sterk want de x1650pro kan hij niet aan :'(

wrom zou die ene X1650 niet aan kunnen? enige reden die ik bedenken is dat je voeding dan niet genoeg power levert voor die kaart. Maar dan moet je wel al erg zwakke voeding erin hebben.

Ik had een voeding van 400 watt. Het probleem was, na dat ik de drivers had geinstalleerd reboote ik, toen kwam het scherm van windows xp (zwarte) en dan reboote hij elke keer opnieuw.

how much money can u get to buy something new? for 200€ you could get mbo+cpu+ram+hdd+gfx that ll run et on 125fps smoothly and you could also play new games without any problems.

try to get 200€ or even less, take my pc for example, e2140 2nd hand could be ~30€, p31-ds3l mbo ~30€, gfx 30€, 2gb ram 25€ new and u can keep old hdd and get new psu for 30€. thats 115€
