It was ok - had moments of brilliance, but I thought it was a bit immature at times (the laser deactivation being a good example).

Nowadays it's hard to find a comedy movie that had the same genious of the Monty Python ones where you would laught till the start to the end. Just like the new movie that everyone was talking about "Step Brothers" and when i saw it was a total crap just found it funny this scene the rest was uter crap.

About 50% of the things where I've taken that approach I've seen a few years later and thought "damn, that was actually pretty good, I should've seen it when it first came out". The hype is not always unfounded. In this case it is, imo.

EDIT: Also, I seem to have a pathological desire to disagree with everything you say. I swear I reply to more of your comments than anyone else's.

Although, everyone said the album was awesome and it was one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever sat through and I even enjoyed the first album. ;_; That and I just can't find Jack Black entertaining at all convinced me that it wasn't worth wasting my bandwidth on.

Well I usually like something a lot, and then it becomes mainstream, and I just can't stomach liking it anymore. Seriously. People ruin everything. Why do they have to ruin everything I like. I hate people, or should I say, SHEEPLE.

That movie might be hyped in english talking countries, but in france it's like totally unknown which makes it stand quite low on the meez-watchable-movies-ladder for me.
