iPhone 3G 8GB

Hello,

i'm thinking to buy a new phone... The iPhone 3G 8GB costs 525€ in Belgium, and this is out of proportion.

But I heard that some people own an iPhone 3G from America, and then you can unlock and jailbreak him and just use it here in Belgium with your provider...


My oncle is a pilot, flying to America sometimes so he could get me one.

But I wonder, how can u get an iPhone in America without having to buy the subscription with it?

I heard it's not possible anymore, and it's only possible now with iPhones from Switzerland?

But I read and heard from people they are owning an iPhone 3G from the US, and using it here in Belgium so... There must be a way no?



Give me as much as usefull information pls!

I'd just get it off youtube. However, I bought an iphone in the states and unlocked it and sold it over here in the uk, so it is possible. That was the first gen iphone though.

chinese ppl sell in poland phones which rly look like iphone.. but they aren´t :D

got mien frm italy (16gb , white , iphone 3g) for 450€

unlock isn´t possible atm i think.. and if u want to unlock in near future you shouldn´t inszall the newest firmware

jailbreak is np :)

yer, i really want a phone that cant send a picture message, and has a substandard camera. overpriced fucking trash imo! and unlocking ANY handset to take any network sim card for your country will mean constantly having to get the settings for sms,voicemail and internet settings sent to you like twice a month from your provider, if theyll even support it. dont do it :<

oh. and remember, if you get an iphone from the us, youll have to get a new power adapter for your country to use, and i bet apple charge a lot for one :P

Just read some foraz in order to jailbreak your new device. Afaik the only available method to unlock iphone3g is by hardware-way(turbosim etc.).
However dev team recently anounced that they re making a lotta' efforts to give away the unlock software in near future.


Just buy this phone is the best avi rite now.
