If the bird is gone from the trunk, move the trunk and put the rod on it.

Done that. The only things I can click are the meteorite and the rod. When I smash the meteorite a fish swims to the rod so I try to pull it up. But that doesn't work.

Then press on the rod, then press on the alien (it should jump on the rod) and then rod a few times to move to the next stage
