what were ur top3 losses in music? i mean when there are ur favorite bands and they split up or something...

mine:

1. The Libertines (1997-2004) - 2 albums
2. The Cooper Temple Clause (1997-2007) - 3 albums
3. Elle Milano (2002-2008) - 1 album

dont say beatles etc... we all know about it...

The ending movie was distressing, all the time I wanted to get out there and kick some SERIOUS ass. And the ending was anyway too dark, I like happy endings, no shady endings. I didnt even get the girl, argh! Oh btw, was it Berengar or some other witcher

Have you read the book(s)? They're translating his work quite quickly. The Last Wish and Blood of Elves have been done in English now, and they're releasing more next year.

No I havent, but after playing the game which has the most compelling story Ive maybe ever seen in a video game, Im surely thinking of it. Also this Finnish game reviewer totally suggested to check them, so ehmm, yeh. (and yes the overall stage of video games' stories is poor but still!)

I read The Last Wish earlier in the year, and it was pretty decent. If you're not a big reader then you'll enjoy it. But, if you read a lot then you'd probably prefer another author.

The Clash would be obvious... but if we're talking bands you could've / should've seen... Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros, touring when I first discovered The Clash, sadly discovered The Mescaleros posthumously. To think I could've seen Mick & Joe reunited on stage jut shy of his death...

Read the rest of my post! The Mescaleros where touring up until 2002...

Would've loved to see The Libertines, but the selftitled doesn't stack up to Up The Bracket & Down In Albion shows he was a guy on the way down... decent interview by Gallagher [wanker] this weekend, reckons after about 3 years you can't really relate to the audience anymore, you've made it, you're not one of them, so the music goes downhill. Seems about right.
