hello, i will get my new notebook soon (16:9) and found this:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/screenshots/wolf-et.php
well as u can see , it looks a bit fatty on wiedescreen. I´m note sure if this will help me to give more hs (fat head? :D) or not.. how ever , i wonder if there is a way to let it look normal? no i dont want black borders on the site :(
atm i play with fov 90 @ 19inch monitor and resolution @ET=r_mode 8
any advice?
thx bb :)

b) according to http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/fovcalc.php you would need like fov 70, so I don't think you can keep your current fov
c) are you sure it's 16:9, most computer monitors are 16:10 by design
That will look fucking RETARDED
How can he play on a 4:3 crt in 1280x1024 and then complain about fucked up aspect ratios? I honestly don't think it'll make a difference what resolution he uses if he can't even noticed how fucked up it is to play on that resolution on CRT.
i dont get it
saw that fov calculator too
well the notebook is 16:9

thx
Or well, get a decent pc first, then get a notebook!
amd athlon 64 x2 6000+
2gb ram
geforce 8800GTS 512m (overclocked edition)
atleast its enough for the new games :P
also a 13" notebook sucks.. well i dont like them :/
so i thought i will fully replace my desktop + crappy notebook with a new notebook.
useing for school & gaming
and tbh: a 17" notebook is as mobile asa 13" notebook for me :P
Pretty sure samsung 957mb used to be 5:4
they wrote 16:9 but with that resolution it must be 16:10
You should set it not as "r_mode" but as "r_custom..."
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1200"
