CoB concert!

Finally, 2 tickets to Children of Bodoms concert @ Helsinki 1.3.09!
As they are currently touring around EU (today at Manchester,UK), has anyone of you seen them already live or planning to go watch the gig?

saw them @ stuttgart, together with machine head and slipknot
they were ok, but i also think they were a little bit pissed, bcuz they had to be the openers & nearly noone was freakin out...

saw them in hamburg (14.11.08), oh my fucking god was that a great gig! opener was the sorrow (didnt know them before, great band from austria!), so the crowd had the right mood. cant tell in words how unbelivable it was! children of decadence, everytime i die, bodom beach terror (i'm a doublebass fan, the first part nearly killed me <3), silent night bodom night, downfall(!) and so on...

bad thing was: i started the tour to hamburg at 17:00. came back to my home at 6:30. -,- but well, i would do it again <3
(kataklysm on the 18.12.08 same location ;D ;D ;D)

seen them what, 4 times? always good show, too bad the 2 newest albums suck compared to the older stuff :(

will see them again when tour gets to holland ;d

well, compared to the brilliance of the hatebreeder album everything sucks really :(

but ye, i guess some people like it. i'm a fan of the old melodic parts and great guitar solos, newer songs are nearly all just chaos and without finesse. there are some good songs on those albums though

Seen them back in 1999 or 2000 (can't remember exactly) together with In Flames. It was a decent gig, but that was before both bands turned into utter crap.

I looked up the ticket -- it was @ 29.9.1999
In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Children of Bodom and Singery.

Was one of the first metal gig i attended. Remembering it now brought up some nice memmories :)
