shoutcast server support?

I might want to buy some shoutcast radio (winamp shoutcast ofc)

I checked prices and stuff - and it seems quite expensive.

so I'm looking for someone who might be interestead in doing this with me?
server is gonna be used for ET (maybe other games?), DJ (music) and what we else want - and ofc. those who pay will be a part of it.

Or just rent a virtual dedicated server and install SHOUTCAST or IceCast2 for shoutcasting...

Have you actually ever heard about copyrightlaws ? If you play someones music what is protected under copyright, you have to pay from playing the tune in your netradio. non-commercial or commecrial... You have to play anyway.

Actually if are part of the the copyright association, you don't own the right for the songs, the association will do own the rights.

That really depends how good is the uplink in the rootserver. Nowdays they're offering also shared 100mb lines what can be an issue with high banwidth use.
