Hi guys,
I've always got good fps (com_maxfps 76, some lagmoments because of PB like everybody too ofcourse ;)). A while ago my brother wanted to make a movie etc and he fucked up some settings so now our fps is like 40 or smth :s I already did /exec pollo and /exec spiroze.cfg but it's still fucked...
anyone knows what other setting he changed or smth?

I reinstalled ET: problem still not fixed :s
maybe u have Anti Alliasing set to 4x or smth like that ?
maybe something else on your pc?
and ET replaced the missing parts from some other configs (u have opened).
once u delete this autoexec file, it wont be the same anymore. even if u exec ur not
FULL config.
/vid_restart
/exec pollo
/exec spiroze
/vid_restart
(check console right after last vid_restart. there might be some unallowed commands, which aren't allowed if you try to play)

Remove all configs(ALL .cfg files) including the whole profile directory, start et without etpro, cvar_restart, vid_restart, load etpro, cvar_restart, vid_restart, exec config, vid_restart.
If you have not experienced anything like this before either you have not tested every setting like a true progaymer would do or there is something else going on, check processdump and remove pb, check your gfx drivers, check if any unnecessary processes is running.
Try ET without your own config after a cvar_restart and check fps.
edit: it's something in my drivers, reinstalling them now..
