When im connecting to a server and the server is full and im awaiting challange.

Do i connect faster if i type timescale 100 ?


or is it just a stupid rumour ?

its just a stupid rumour, most of it do it just so the numbers go faster, and they think they're making some progress

well, it means youre checking for a slot 100x more often than somebody with timescale 1. so if a slot comes free you're 100x more likely to get it assuming there's two people waiting to get on.

imo its the higher your number is at waiting challange the sooner you can join.. so if you have waiting challange 10 000 you prolly get in first..

if you set it too high you might even go back in time :X - yesterday i was connecting to bios one year ago - i saw a few old faces who already quit et :/
