Earthquake in Copenhagen?

Was woken up at 6:20 this morning, while everything was shaking and it was quite disturbing. So I tried to fall asleep again, but I couldn't.

I tried to convince myself that it was just a very vivid dream, but as I discovered now, I wasn't the only one who experienced it... according to the different news pages on the web. There isn't that much information at the moment though.

*edit*
Just found some information, was registered at 4.7 on the Richter scale.

Will be interesting to find out how the hell it happened, since we never really have any earthquakes of this scale in our region.

I remember like 3-4 years ago there was an earthquake near Lithuania and Russia at 5.0 or smth, I could feel it in Latvia!
we had a 4.5 tremor some years ago here in Bremen, where we usually never have earthquakes. It was caused by some collapsing caves some kilometers down the earth and could be felt within a radius of over 80km.
tell yourself a joke then!

I can't laugh about jokes. I am a person without humor.

The shock waves moved him back.

No, I cancelled it :(
I was also suppose to come back at the end of November.

Always wanted to know, how it feels. :(
I think the word "scary" pretty much covers it.

This would probably be nothing to people living on the west coast of the US, Japan or somewhere. However, for people who not usually experience quakes... quite scary.

Ye, what Arachon said is right. We had one here in Strasbourg years ago, i don't kno why but i woke up 1hour before it, i didn't want to sleep.. don't know why no reason. Then was this shit.. i was so scared :D
Parent
I actually also woke up 5 minutes before the quake, but "fell asleep" again.

experienced aloooot of quakes so far but the one that tops em all was 1999 Istanbul.
it was something around 8 richter scale, lasted about 1 min...

I was reading a dragonlance book lying on the bed, around 3 am or so...
then it started, and small ones I kinda enjoy so I remember I was like "here we go again heheh"

but then it didnt stop !!! and got loud and stronger, so after like 10 seconds I decided its a good idea to panic now, and thought its time to gtfo off the building, and I as was running the corridor I remember hitting both walls....

...next day there was heavy traffic on the roads ...%90 of them were ambulances.
they had it in Skåne aswell

but noone cares cuz no1 likes Skåningar :)
SUG KUK HORJÄVEL ....... SKÅNE ÄR BÄST!!!!!!

We had a 5.5 quake back in February, they're awesome :O))) earthquake party!
Yeah, as Nellie already said, there was one back in February quite close to me. I remember I was talking to someone on MSN when it happened. Our building had to be evacuated.
i lived this kind of experience. Nothing new for me. Just remember i was lucky, my bag was lucky, my shoes too. Nothing happened to me that's was great cus the building had a bit problems cus of it.
4.7 please, pussy shit. Had 6.(something) This summer! Was in my room on the third floor and the house started litterally swinging, not shaking lol. The polaks that live on the first floor were out on the parking lot in like 6 seconds, whole family :D
Probably because they're winning gas ( dno if this is correct english, ) or old mines.

edit: http://www.seniorennet.be/Pages/Nieuws/actuele_aardbevingen_europa_wereld_belgie_realtime.php first picture, could be that the earthquake in sweden was so strong that you felt it.
