PC problems help me plz !

Ok well basiclly my pc building skills are rubbish so im learning as im going along.

here is what I was running

Q6600 CPU
8800GTS oc 512
Antec Twelve Hundred case
550w Antec Neopower psu
4gb Evo one RAM

The otther day I added two more 120mm fans to my pc. When I tried to start my pc up it would not putting anyhting on the screen not even bios.

Eventually it would not even boot up even though I had lights on the motherbaord. So I put it down to the Motherbaord being dead and the PSU as I tried another psu and that powered the motherbaord up but still with no bios. I also changed out my gfx card just in case.

I looked on the net and found out with the quipment I was running I needed a 700w PSU so I guessed that I had overloaded my 550w psu.

So I spent £200 on a new 1000w PSU and a motherboard. Plugged them all in last night and still no display on the screen and now the pc is powering up but after 30 seconds it turns off and then starts up again.(keeps doing this) So I swapped my cpu out for my old Dualcore but that made no difference. Basiclly I don't know whats faulty and whats not and I have almost got to the point where the whole lot is going out of the window. I have found all solutions to my problems on here before so I am praying I can again!

Thankyou so much for your help and time in reading this. I am a man who is stressed out and on the edge!

damn give me a decent pc plox
that thing with PSU is such a backstab.. i think that you need 600W+ just in case of SLi/CF or maybe in some pure overclocking cases.

Which mobo do you have?
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

This is the new one the old was an Asus

stupid question i know, bu i have to: did you plug gpu power cable from PSU? (6-pin molex, 3/3) connector is placed at back of your card. Also you can try to reset your BIOS with the jumper but i doubt that it will help

I have the pci e cable in the gfx card and also thex 4 pins going into the 8 power socket. And of course the 24 pin on eis connected.

So must be mobo or ram bcuz u tried everything else. I think that beeping light on your mobo doesn't mean that much. If its possible try you memory on any different mobo/pc (if they are working.. you can also run memtest after). Another problem is maybe in your motherboard. Saw that your model have few different revisions. Maybe you are just unlucky with yours. I would send everything with warranty back bcuz you spent a lot of money with fixing this : D As someone under said, try to reconnect everything again..

you did put heatsink paste on cpu didn't you?
Parent
if you dont know how, pay someone who does
maybe ur pc needs more power? bigger power supply? dont know anything about pc stuff like that so i might be a stupid answer :P
read! he already tried two different psus : D
Parent
didnt knew psu means power supply xD u c i m noob @ these things :p

no bios beeps on startup?

try yanking the bios battery out for a few seconds, to reset it.
I don't have a speaker, I will try the bios reset maybe it does not see my cpu?
Parent
could be that.. but were you earthed (anti-static wrist strap) while poking around in the PC case? I've blown motherboards before thanks to static from my own body.
Parent
I was a bit naughty and did not put them on, I hope its not too late, i will take a strap home tonight
Parent
Maybe your memory sticks?

could also try to replace the battery on your board.. but i doubt thats the problem cause i think you would still get nvram in that case
reconnect all your power cables - tidy them up, sort em out
im going to strip it out again and run the motherbaord outside of the case with only the basic things connected.
