Hi everybody,
because of a little LAN with some of my friends I want to get WWP playable again. I've downloaded a version with crack - needs ages with my internet connection - and installed the game + crack + some patch for XP to get it working.
The game starts and everything seems smooth but everytime I want to start a map my whole computer freezes and the monitor stays black. Doesn't matter if sp or mp or training. Does anybody have a solution for it or is it maybe just broken? Any proper and confirmed download for it?
...and do you have any other games which are fun on LAN? Can be oldsql as Worms as well. :)

same shit happens on my comp when I want to play worms armageddon
on my old laptop however, everything is smooth
there is no solution, take an older comp
...außerdem turnt das eh nie wirklich, finde ich, also kommt der Unlust-Faktor noch erschwerend dazu. ;)
Right click and run it as Windows 98 (Think so?). Should work.
~ 400mb to download. we bought it years ago for 50 mark and it's still a lot better than those newer versions plus it runs on all those old pc's.
